PVC is abbreviation for poly(vinyl chloride). PVC coating adds extra protection to the steel wire,  prevents corrosive liquids from attacking galvanized wire, even in salt, acidic or polluted water, and reduces the damaging effect of UV radiation and abrasion, thus extends the gabion's service life for years especially in harsh environment. 








Due to different core wire, there are many options for PVC coated Gabion  

Black wire + PVC coated Gabion

Electro GI + PVC coated Gabion

HDG + PVC coated Gabion

Heavily Zinced + PVC coated Gabion

Galfan + PVC coated Gabion

 

PVC Coating Thickness 0.4 -0.5mm per side. For example, the core wire is 2mm, after PVC coating, it will be about 2.8mm-3.0mm. In PVC gabion products, the wire thickness is about 2-4mm after coating.






The color of the pvc is usually blackish green, as it can perfectly merge with the surrounding environment. Other colors, like grass green, or grey, can be customized on request.
