Barbed Wire Arms are post fittings used to hold barbed wire in place. It is usually used on top of chain link fence. 

 

There are single arm and double arm two types. Both are one-piece structure. Barb Arms are made of galvanized pressed steel, usually angled at 45° in or out from the fence line and hold three strands of barbed wire per arm. 

                 

The barb arms are capped onto the round section fence posts, thus its size is a little bigger than the OD of the post. eg. 2” arm fit 1-7/8" OD, 2-1/2” arm fits 2-3/8" OD.

With barbed wire and barb arm support, the concertina razor wire can be perfectly fitted onto chain link fence system, too.

 

When barb wire and razor blade be installed onto welded mesh fence, the barb arm is usually integrated with the RHS /SHS /CHS fence post into a Y shape post. And the concertina wire is usually installed with the support of barb wire or V shape bended welded mesh.
